If no, then it is a business exchange.

The Greek word pnein means breath.

To say that an animal has a soul is not to say that it is the same as man who has spirit. This is not my argument but I did want to point out that others differeniate between the two.
My argument that animals and humans are radically different is predicated on the difference between conceptual abstraction and perceptual abstraction. The difference there is huge! In the future I will explain exactly what I mean by those terms.

I really don't understand what your trying to say, it seems like your saying that love isn't anything special by calling it a "business exchange", which doesnt have anything to do with what i said. I don't feel bad for your wife on the basis on how you treat her, but on the basis that you consider love to be a "business relationship", and business isn't exactly a walk in the park or anything thats remotely close to love. And the reason i made that remark about your wife, is b/c love is what marriage and relationships are built on.
Well I don't have a significant other, so I will use my dogs as example, yes, i would still be loving to my dogs even if they didnt show me affection back. Whether that makes me enlightened or a fool, hell i don't know.
