Cubensis on Sawdust, Illustrated Tek

I found this Russian site with some interesting Psilocybe documents that are worth a look. I have taken the liberty of translating this one using babelfish into English. Keep in mind that its not a perfect translation but its still pretty good. The cubensis on sawdust tek should help debunk the popular idea that cubes can't grow on wood.

I found sawdust/woodchips to support weak fruiting and to dry out quite rapidly. It is far from a good substrate to use. I consider it more of a novelty substrate. I'm sure my results wood have been better if the moisture capacity of the substrate wood have been higher. Perhaps a portion of verm would help things.

hehe, like he said:
Quote:

Substratal block after the collection of harvest should be covered with film and supplied to dark place on the pair of days. If surface is too dry - to sprinkle by water from the pulverizer. If block too shrank - to subject to the rehydration: to flood with boiled water of room temperature and to give to postoyat' are somewhat hour. Water to pour off. (for the blocks without the cover the complete rehydration of more preferable than the spraying, since they more strongly dry.)

'round here we call this dunking
