His replacement is more far right then he was.  Will be interesting if there will be a Palestine anymore.  Guy is scary.

Hope he walks out of parliament and gets hit by a bus.

Naftali is far worse, but this will be shown as a concession by Israel in light of recent genocidal events making the news.

Bibi was always going to fall eventually, but this timing is perfect for Israel and the US. They’re banking on folks saying “yesss they got rid of the Israeli Trump!” and then tuning back out. It’ll probably work tbh

These parliamentary systems are far more interesting than ours. If what I'm reading is correct, Yair Lapid (a centrist) will rotate every two years with Bennet as Prime Minister and, and there will be Arabs in the coalition.

Parliamentary systems are notoriously less stable in terms of maintaining the same head of state government for very long.  There are pros and cons

I like the power sharing. It's more democratic than what we have.

Absolutely. Give me a parliamentary system over our stupid ass bicameral legislature any day of the week.

I'm not a huge fan of head of state and head of government being separate people. It allows for too much blame obfuscation in my mind, but I generally agree with y'all

Yeah that part irks me, I like how the UK does it if they’d just axe the monarchy already.

They like to pretend that the monarchy is strictly ceremonial, but lets be real. The queen has plenty of interesting powers codified in law like the ability to dissolve parliament and dismiss the PM at her discretion. Or the right to grant lands and titles. Pretty consequential stuff and that is disregarding the power of money itself, of which the royals certainly have plenty.

Huh. This new asshole has laid out a plan to give a token minority of Palestinians citizenship explicitly so that Israel could not be called an apartheid state.

Something tells me that when you've got a plan to avoid being called an apartheid state, you're an apartheid state.

The Queen has plenty of powers over the Commonwealth.  But she would never use them to influence the Commonwealth.  She only "signs" what she is told to sign by the parliament of any country of the Commonwealth.  No member of the Royal family is allowed to vote in any country.

I'd rather roll the dice with the queen. Gods are immortal, which means there's an entire shitshow to pick from.

Celebrate Israel.

What was that war with such amazing DESTROY ISRAEL governments?
Israel seized the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, from Jordan and the Golan Heights from Syria.

Get you slings and stones ready.  And rockets just launched anywhere.  BUT IT IS GENOCIDE!

I thought that was genocide.

Death to all Israel and Americans!  That short little war by those shit governments awhile back kind of ended quick didn't it.

Do think if it was a genocide that it would take more than three days to wipe them all out?  This isn't Russia and the U.S. against the Afghan and endless mountains and caves and war profiteers like good old Dick and Halliburtan.  The 20 year war.

With Palestine bit of a different story or Iraq, or Iran if they want to instead of just killing nuke scientists and people that would use them.  Like our allies here living in the States.

Control women, honor kills, strap on those vests for suicide bombs, and death to everyone but us?  Sorry, can really empathize with that.  America is corrupt but holy shit compared to that, no.
