Its why he's going to win by a landslide. All I've been hearing is people telling me they're going to vote for trump just to try to help give up on giving a fuck about corona. People say if he literally does anything anti mask he's got my vote. This is coming from people who would never have considered pressing the button for trump only 4 months ago.

My wife who's never voted Republican in her entire life is voting for trump just because he might be able to undermine corona response. This is an extremely common trend I've been hearing

That's an interesting perspective, but shouldn't some of that attitude be reflecting in the polls at this point?  Or maybe there's just less anti-mask voters than people outraged with Trump constantly attempting to minimize the pandemic.

If what you're suggesting has any merit, it wouldn't result in any type of landslide election in favor of Trump. It would make it a closer race and maybe give Trump a fair chance to win.
