No there wouldn’t. We have drive through testing and contact tracing in my city and you can get a test in under 5 minutes. The real problem is that health care companies are more than willing to rip people off and charge them for the test despite that it’s supposed to be free.

You want to explain how some kids ordering tickets prevented real trump fans from filling up the first come first serve seats. A ticket doesn’t get you in. It gets you in line.

It was a great speech if you’re into excuses for shuffling down a ramp.

They also rescheduled to a Sunday night, from a Saturday night. Responsible working folks with kids generally don't go out on Sunday nights. That probably put the biggest dent in attendance.

No big deal. Plenty more speeches between now and November.

Holy shit. You're right. I've been a day off for days now...

Either way, if you make plans for a Friday night show, and then the show is moved to Saturday night.. you can't always reschedule last minute.

You do understand that all those kids reserving tickets they never intended to use didn’t prevent a single trump supporter from registering and showing up in Tulsa.

It was a perfect storm of incompetence and bravado. Trump spent the week bragging about the million people who signed up to attend so by Saturday, the entire world was expecting a massive trump crowd, and instead what we got was an WNBA crowd. Everyone watching knows how trump values the optics of large crowds and it was a nationally televised public humiliation the likes of which we haven’t seen in a long time. That rally disaster made trump into a loser in the minds of millions of Americans.

It's going to be a wonderful four months of listening to lame ass excuses.

Another fun fact from yesterday. Although Trump still has two thirds of the fundamentalist support, his approval with them dropped 14% in the last month.

The president of the United States tweeted a video two weeks ago that said “the only good democrat is a dead democrat.” That level of divisiveness is unprecedented coming from a president. It is Trumps bread and butter.

Just the other night he retweeted a bunch of worldstar type videos of black people attacking white people. Just random videos of ordinary Americans beating each other up. How is that all appropriate for someone whose constituency is everyone. The man feeds off of division like no one I have ever seen.

remember when right wingers thought law enforcement was tyrannical?

That dude spent two weeks on TV threatening law enforcement that he wouldn’t go down without a fight, and then the right was outraged when that’s exactly what happened.

In a lot of ways the CHOP situation and the multiple Bundy situations are very analogous.
