As I agreed before, "they (the NY Times) WON'T intentionally print something that is verifiably false.  But they would print something that is not verifiably true, and they do it all the time."

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Notice how the NY Times didn't mention a thing about how the committee said ‘We don’t have time to correct every error’.  That's an important piece of information, don't you think?

They should find time to correct every error. Which errors were these?

Random dudes on twitter seem to have found the time to go through literally all the public results and find errors that are still present

But the people whose job it is to figure it out, they don't have time

After the recanvass, Bernie was behind by .08 out of 2152 delegates = .000037

That means if they found the votes of just seven caucus goers were counted wrong out of ~175,000 people that attended, Bernie may have won it.

That's too risky to recount if you're the establishment, especially considering how all the recounts appear to keep going Bernie's way (just another of many such odd coincidences, I'm sure).

It will help Biden in the sense that it will prevent Sanders from creating distance in the delegate count, but by all available polls his supporters will go to Sanders/Biden/Warren at an even split.

I'm watching Pete's consession speech just for cringe value.

I'll miss him for the cringe value.

"Does Sanders' Tax Plan Work? We Do The Math?"

Ok, this is a decent analysis of his plan. I do have one major issue with it, the "Green New Deal" is too aggressive and makes way too many optimistic assumptions in my opinion.  My suggestion, scrap it for now and focus on Medicare For All in 2020.

the supporters go in an even split
but how do the established superdelegates work
are they basically just free to allign behind Biden now?
is it possible Pete was only in the race to get Biden some delegates in areas where he was less strong?

Good analysis.  He disagrees with you about the "Green New Deal" being too aggressive, as do I.

Oh who cares about global warming...90% of us will starve due to overpopulation waaaay before the whether kills us:rofl2:

Seriously though, I’m all for healing the planet, but it’s hard to care about that kind of stuff when you’re poor...or maybe I’m just an asshole, idk.
Imo the green new deal should focus more on skilled job creation (like its namesake legislation did) than eco-friendliness

Isn't Bernie focusing most of his efforts on Medicare For All at this point?  I don't hear much about his New Green Deal plan and its appeal to regular working class people. I could be mistaken as well, but I don't see how people will relate to it when health care, income inequality and student debt/free education are the key issues today.

I think the strategy now is to get the establishment candidates out so Gabbard and Warren suck up as many of Bernie's votes as possible.  Hopefully Gabbard drops out quickly, but Warren is likely stay in it to hurt Sanders and to get a nice cabinet position out of it on Biden's team.

And hopefully Bloomberg stays in, as I think that will potentially drain Biden votes, but we'll see...
