The impossible part is “on day 1”. Drugs weren’t outlawed overnight and they can’t be legalized overnight either. That’s not Bernie’s fault, but it is a fact.

But it won’t be enforced on day 1. Best case scenario, the feds stop enforcing anti-MJ laws for a couple of weeks.
It’s like what happened to Trump’s executive orders. The Supreme Court won’t let such huge decisions be decided without Congressional approval.

Look, I admire Bernie’s tenacity, but the reason I’m voting for him is his level of honesty and follow-through. He doesn’t flip-flop and he has a solid plan to implement his policies. Signing an executive order on your 1st day in office isn’t one of those solid plans.

They used some funky math to calculate delegate distribution. I believe it was

% of votes X number of voters

I gave it an honest go, but i just can’t grasp the Iowa caucus system.
Why Americans always gotta complicate democracy lol. Can’t we just count the number of votes? Ever?

Brilliant.  When I read they were going to release partial results, I wanted to make a signature bet that it would be favorable for an establishment candidate, but I had to run to a meeting.

They're hoping Buttigieg gets enough donations during this period to help him beyond New Hampshire.

I'm guessing it will be a while before they release the final precincts.

It won’t matter because he has zero support among blacks and Latinos. He’s gonna get crushed in SC and Super Tuesday.


The good thing here is that Biden tanked, that’s why Bloomberg just doubled his ad buys, another oligarch savior to the rescue, except Bloomberg doesn’t have a constituency either.

But yeah they’re gonna leave this 62% out there for a few days to give Pete a bunch of good press and hope that can keep Sanders from sweeping New Hampshire. Just hilarious that the Democrats are burning down their own fucking house to try to stave off Sanders.

Even if the final delegate totals come out exactly how they should be, they cheated Bernie. Iowa is the springboard that gives you momentum going into the other 3 states before Super Tuesday. Sanders has been robbed of that.

He promised he wouldn't run 3rd party, and he's one of the few honest politicians in the race.

If the dems use the nuclear option and kick him out of the party for not being enough of a Democrat, that'd be a different story, I think.
