Most of Bernie's positions poll very well -> Medicare for all, free public college, environmental protections, etc. Bernie is literally speaking to the heart of the people, which is why he polls better than any other candidate against Trump, and he is currently winning.

Everybody wants free stuff. But when you tell them how much it's going to cost, they aren't so eager.

The Democrats know that he will get crushed in a general election, because as soon as people learn enough about his plans, they won't like them.

Without it, Capitalism would surely have failed long ago. We call it the 'social safety net'. A very large proportion of the country has fallen below the poverty line at some point in their lives, and utilized safety net programs to get back on their feet. If those programs were not available, they would have revolted and instated an all out Socialist governing body long ago.

So, about a year ago I put my money where my mouth is with regard to Bernie.  I've doubled down on that in the interim but my initial investment is up a little more than 100% atm.
The market has almost come around to my thinking and my new investment reflects what I think it will pivot to after tonight.
I have a sell order in for 90 cents in iowa tonight.

One unanimous, the other a delegate split: Bernie 5, 2 each for Liz and Pete, respectively.


Remaining anxiety ridden for the next 6 hours.

I'm entitled to vote however I see fit.

I didn't say 'if Bernie doesn't get nominated', I said if he 'gets fucked out of the nomination'. Let's see how dirty the DNC plays this thing. Last election they were throwing voters off the voter rolls, closing down polling stations in poor areas, and Bill Clinton was blocking polling stations.

I personally believe that the person who set up the firewall between Bernie and Clinton's campaign information intentionally took it down for Hillary Clinton to spy on the Sanders campaign, especially given that he had worked for Clinton's campaign against Obama. All speculation, though.

The amount of fuckery that occurred last election was mindboggling, and this election, Mayor Bloomberg has been afforded the right to purchase rule changes that benefit him in the primary. He donated over $300,000 to the DNC, and they conveniently change the rules to suit him.

I don't like what I'm seeing, and I'm not voting for something I despise. I'd rather see the establishment destroy the party, so we can rebuild it, because that is what they are effectively doing.
