Had to come in here to say I really respect Sanders he’s just like Ron Paul very honest , has integrity but his views are polar opposite of mine.

What do you guys enjoy about socialism. Relying on the government and paying high prices?

We just want to divert money from military spending, to social programs. We don't enjoy 10's of thousands of dollars in college and medical debt. We want higher wages, and less disparity between the wealthy, and the middle class. We want to be like the rest of the developed world.

If you want to get into the nitty gritty... There are a lot of things that aren't surface, like the fact that foreign governments negotiate drug prices. They fight for low prices for their citizens. In the US you pay $80,000 for a treatment of sofosbuvir, while in Pakistan you pay $300. Why is that? In America you pay $600 a month for insulin. Nowhere else in the world do they pay that much.

We want a government that works for us, not for the wealthy and powerful.

As Q says, we already have Socialism, for the wealthy. When they tank a multi-billion dollar business, we're supposed to bail them out, and they still take multi-million dollar bonuses at Christmas time.

We want Socialism for the working man, we already have Socialism for the rich.

The Des Moines Register, CNN and Selzer & Co. have made the decision to not release the final installment of the CNN/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll as planned this evening.

Nothing is more important to the Register and its polling partners than the integrity of the Iowa Poll. Today, a respondent raised an issue with the way the survey was administered, which could have compromised the results of the poll. It appears a candidate’s name was omitted in at least one interview in which the respondent was asked to name their preferred candidate.

While this appears to be isolated to one surveyor, we cannot confirm that with certainty. Therefore, the partners made the difficult decision to not to move forward with releasing the Iowa Poll.

The Register has published the Iowa Poll for 76 years, and it is considered the gold standard in political polling. Selzer & Co., which conducts the poll, is recognized for its excellence in polling. It is imperative whenever an Iowa Poll is released that there is confidence that the data accurately reflects Iowans’ opinions.

From what I understand there are 3 different ways a person can claim to have won the Iowa caucus. The first is by winning the most delegates, second is by winning the most districts, and 3rd is by getting the most votes. This is why candidates announce that they have won, instead of waiting for the news media to do so.
