True. It's about time we see a lefty stand on principle, instead of false lefties, providing false hope, propped up by a mound of lies and horse shit. I agree that Bernie should just continue being genuine, and avoid making political calculations.

She is very special.  I wonder how long she'll last?  I hope her whole life or as long as she wants to. 

One of the brightest lights in American federal politics, along with Sanders.  I wish there were some like her in Ottawa.

Politicians should be removed an the people should be given the power of a direct democracy. Till then we should at least have term limits for all politicians and supreme court justices same as we do for president.

I think it's becoming possible.  Sanders is emerging in the polls, and he is the second choice of the two other front runners.

He also has the quality of gaining support the more people hear him talk, while Biden might be the opposite.

Man, a Trump/Sanders election would be dynamite.

Trump would demolish Sanders; not saying Trump is 'better' than Sanders, but I can just tell after watching hours of both of them speak. Tulsi is the only one of the contenders I could see being able to stand up against Trump and win.

Why


They're both too radical and turn away more potential supporters than they would gain for Bernie.

Bernie will still get the non-white vote if he runs against Trump, he doesn't need to put those radicals on the stage to gain those inevitable votes.

I can see Cornell West not being an asset because he appeals to radicals, who would vote for Bernie anyway. AOC works very well for Bernie. Her energy appeals to the young crowd, and they have little problem with what others see as her extremes. The issue with the young is not how they vote, but getting them to vote. I think she will be valuable to Bernie in the primaries and the general.

I agree with the Ecstatic that Bernie's road to victory depends very little on getting conservatives to crossover. It's based on a high turnout from people who share his philosophy.

Cornel is an asset because most of the people who know who he is like him, and nobody else really cares. Not nearly as popular or as polarizing as AOC.

Bernie already has the young vote, he doesn't need her for that demographic. 

And yes, it would help Bernie to get some former Trump voters in the key states.  That's why AOC and West need to go right after the primary.

You turn off someone who wants Medicare For All by promoting all of this immigration and diversity rhetoric by parading around with those radicals.

1. Bernie doesn’t need a scapegoat, he’s correctly identified capital and the ruling class as the problem.

2. There’s a reason he’s leading polls with non white voters. Pivoting to the right on race and that disappears.
