Nah. That's a sediment filter. Way too porous for this application. Use things people have used before. PTFE SFD's > polyfil > tyvek

Yo meaculpo just go down to walmart and get a big bag of political its like 5 bucks and will last forever.  Its located near the arts and crafts

Edit - polyfill, not a big bag of political. 

To make life, you hammer a nail through your jar lid then stuff polyfill super tight in the hole.

You should focus on trying to get a culture on agar that is clean and consistent for multiple transfers before messing with any other jars.  Take it one step at a time before moving on.

the thing is when I go to a manstore (hardware) and ask the local handy men for tyvec, they have never heard about it.

Guess I can use that 3 micron filter to filter the agar then.. yay.

Painter's suits. Or try a hobby store for kite tyvek... if kites are a thing where you are.
Find a pillow stuffed with synthetic fiber, that's polyfil (polyester fiber). Also could be found in craft/sewing supply stores.

Mycobags? Like the whole bag/filter? What are your intentions for those..? Why didn't you just order the filters?

What kind of daily troubles do your ambitions lead you to?

Just one.
Polyester fiber has more integrity under heat, it's just a little more labor intensive. Because of the physical properties, I would suggest polyfil over tyvek, even though I have only personally used kite tyvek and PTFE synthetic filter discs - both with great success. But, science.

In the nicest way possible, please understand that you are not following the PF Tek, and if you were, you would most likely be getting better results.

Your T2 agar is on it's way, transfer a small piece of that leading edge and this time try to place it in the center of the receiving jar.
