Some shaky agar. These have been transfered from, and the dishes in the pictures are to be destroyed, because I dont think they look healthy or good.




Colonizing:


Box 1:
13 substrate jars, mostly pf tek
1 agar jar
Bag tray:
3 bags
Agar box 1:
17 agar jars
Box 2:
9 substrate jars (varying size)
Box 3:
4 bags
15 popcorn/brf jars

Total
7 bags
18 agar jars
27 substrate jars

"Fruiting"
2 jars
1 tray


One is a fluffy blob, the other is rice puffs cased with coir.
"open air", inside a abox, coir has been given a tiny bit of water.
I think I should throw these out. Just say so.



It feels like a throwback to earlier in the thread.
If they are hopeless just tell me so, I can use the jars.

Tray

Take heart in the picture of the tray instead,
it is much better looking. Thin substrate
or not, it looks like what other people
are waiting for in their threads.



Expecting the tray to pin within 2 weeks,
probably a few days less. Not sure when to
take off the lid. Keeping the lid on to preserve
humidity while the casing gets colonized.

Tonights work

8 agar jars, 2 brf jars

Tonight Im making some transfers from good looking agar, to other agar, and to 2 new brf jars. One of them has a .2 micron filter which glue survived the PC.^
Kinda worried about the glue blocking the air though, it is a solid liquid.
Was able to blow some air through prior to PCing. Works.

LC

Im also making my third attempt, hobby-wise, to make a single LC.
The purpose is to see what happens if I put some of my cleanest
looking agar in a some PCed "agar liquid". I added a miniscule
drop of honey to some thinned out agar water and stirred it
manually in one of my mini jars. Going to PC it for 30 mins
since it had some visible sediment which I guess is from the
malt or from the agar.

Starting with the transfers now, LC in 1h.

Toss everything but the tray and the one jar of agar you have with good myc in it, if you have stalled or questionable  brf cakes toss those too. The one with the dark line is sketchy.


Dont transfer from shitty looking agar when you have good agar to work with.

Make 3-5 new dishes (that arent lumpy) and transfer from the nice myc to them.

If you are willing to buy anything I’d say get some 1/4 pint jars or some glad mini rounds and mod them for gas exchange then use those for agar

Also LC doesnt have agar in it, except for the tiny piece you transfer with the mycelium.

Yeah, i mean the myc from the agar to the LC. Finished everything in the above plan.

Threw out the two jars above and all the above agar dishes

Why not make more transfers from the good agar to clean it up before making the LC and then make it using truly clean mycelium?

Also are you on some type of deadline?

Today I am moving to a new apartment, which isnt the mold ass hell I lived in now. I also get a entire room available for my work, courtesy of my kind woman.

Doing a complete tally of all jars and bags, making sure that no green boys get to ride along to the new place. Eventually, orcs will maraud against this place as well, but we can give it the best of starts.

My immediate reaction is that 'spore load' is not what is causing your issues.
But turning a new page can be very nice. Congrats on that.

Your tubs make me think, 'time will tell.'
But I do think you will get some fruits. Congrats on that.

I think you'll get some fruit too. Maybe not but it looks like you might.

My advise: Take moving to a new place as a metaphorical chance to start doing things in a new way. Start taking the advice of folks who are trying to help you and start following proven teks. I promise, you won't regret it. There is a reason you are still fruitless and it isn't because you followed are advise.

P.S. i say all of this in love and with the best of intentions. I hope you know that.

Do they just pop up from what Im seeing now, or is there a means of identifying their arrival before you actually see them.

What in tarnation... Bruhhhh, why do you have foil under the substrate, the myc is going to eat through it. Also, why is there verm all over the top? What is going on here!!!
