How can I convince you?
    #26190982 -

Being over analytical at times, overthinking the basics, seeing major difficulties where only minor inconveniences are at foot.

Rushing into a sense of independence may not always result in that independence at a level which might have been expected, and sometimes you can lose it entirely if you aren't careful or too hastened to find a solution.

To acquiesce is sometimes a useful solution, and maybe again something that can be improved upon over time.

Quote:
Mirror visual feedback (MVF) is a promising approach to enhance motor performance without training in healthy adults as well as in patients with focal brain lesions. There is preliminary evidence that a functional modulation within and between primary motor cortices as assessed with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) might be one candidate mechanism mediating the observed behavioral effects. Recently, studies using task-based functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) have indicated that MVF-induced functional changes might not be restricted to the primary motor cortex (M1) but also include higher order regions responsible for perceptual-motor coordination and visual attention. However, aside from these instantaneous task-induced brain changes, little is known about learning-related neuroplasticity induced by MVF.

Our findings support the application of MVF in neurorehabilitation to facilitate neural plasticity in patients suffering from unimanual motor impairments and have identified additional target regions for non-invasive brain stimulation techniques.

Just plain ol delirium.

I’ve gone through it before but I haven’t had schizophrenia.

It wasn’t that I didn’t think it was weird to think the things I thought I did, it’s that I’d convinced myself I HAD seen them, and I HAD heard them.

It was that acceptance of it being delirium which set me off in a better direction.

You do not understand science, so you are afraid of it. Like a dog is afraid of thunder or balloons. To you, science is magic and witchcraft because you have such small minds. I cannot make your heads bigger, but your children's heads, I can take them and crack them open. This is what I try to do, to get at their brains!

Let's put this in simple terms: Resolving delirium involves shrink wrapping to control the substance a brain is exposed to.

If you think of neuroplasticity as some sort of shrink wrap then maybe you're onto something here, but haggis aside, no.

Resolving hyperactive manic delirium involves attention to detail, in my experience it has.

By looking through what the individual has been going through, where they found themselves, and over what time period they've experienced whatever it is that they've experienced, it can come down to a matter of being able to deduce that errors of perception are a reality.

This initially involved self-admittance to cases of delirium which in of itself is no easy task, being attentive enough to deduce what those specific false perceptions actually were, even more so.

Again though, such things often happen if there are serious chemical imbalances at place, and as these resolve, the proclivity and severity of said delusions reduce over time too.

If it can be done with time only and no effort, I'm unsure; if it can be improved upon and overcome over not too long a time period, I am certain.

The relationship of the objective with one's personal goals might shed light on the hurdles in the way.

Apparently the facts concerning the relationship of delirium on psychotic symptoms can vary according to personal opinion; therefor the facts remain theories after all.

There are differences between delirium and schizophrenia.

Quote:
Delirium can have features that are similar to the active symptoms of schizophrenia (e.g., hallucinations, delusions). The etiology of delirium is extensive. The crucial difference between schizophrenia and delirium is the timing; signs and symptoms of schizophrenia generally develop over weeks to months, whereas delirium usually has a much more rapid onset. Because many medical illnesses can cause delirium, the diagnosis of new-onset schizophrenia should be made cautiously in patients who have an existing serious medical illness.

Otherwise, what relationship are you talking about?

The relationship between personal goals and theories.

i.e. No doubt the medical community can profit by having some theories accepted as facts.

A cure for aids might be profitable but also life saving for millions.

And if hypothesis become theories or accepted as fact, that’s due to there being enough evidence to conclude so.

Whatever relationship you’re eluding to is likely a personal one.
