Bench top laminar flow hood

Just wondering if this unit might work for someone that doesn't have the tools or skills to DIY and laminar flow hood ?

I dont think anybody knows. I  didnt have the tools or skills to DIY a laminar flow hood when i bought mine(FP). I had to screw the blower fan on with my grandfathers antique manual hand drill :rolleyes:
If i were to buy a new one i would either find one on sale from a school/ lab for a fraction of what its worth or make my own. I also have never used a flowhood where the flow comes from top.

It could possibly work on it's side however the walls may cause unwanted turbulence rendering it useless. You can build your own for less than a third of that price.
