snap your top and leave it alone. Its knotting up, its going to pin when its ready. Took my box a little over 2 weeks to start pinning. Shoexbox is set and forget, as long as your field capacity is correct. You dont need to be fanning and misting 3 times a day.

Thanks for responding! Im assuming you mean the original snap lid? Currently it’s dubbed tubbed. From your response im guessing that the mycelium is still colonizing and not ready to fruit yet?

I suggest throwing a thin coir casing on that, otherwise you're going to have side pins and not much else. He'll, I even roll PF cakes in coir. Why not get fruits everywhere? Coir creates a micro climate on the surface that promotes pinning.

Let it ride and leave the lid on. Dub tub is kinda extra imo. The mush will push the lid open if they want more room.

I'm confused on how you're fruiting this? Do you put a lid on it throughout the day or is it open air? You usually shouldn't have to mist bulk subs (although shoeboxes can dry out easier). It's not like PF Tek where you mist regardless because a cake in an SGFC will lose moisture rapdily. Tubs are designed to maintain themselves.

It also looks like your liner/garbage bag is taped to outside of the tub? If so, this will let the condensation roll back onto the substrate and pool up sometimes. So be careful your sub isn't overly wet.

It's tough to tell with your big ass picture, but I'm sure there's metabolites in the tub, which can indicate stress/bacteria. And my eyes can't tell if some of the knot features are big water droplets. But it's definitely knotting and you should have some pins soon.

You should upload images to the Shroomery from now on.



Also 2 weeks from spawning is not very long. Depending on genetics, I can go anywhere from 15-25 days from spawn to harvest in a shoebox.
