I'm planning a 15g trip. Done 8g and now I wanna start this 2 year dry spell with a bang.

I haven't shroomed in well over 25 years.  That will likely change if my first attempt at a grow works out.

But I just wanted to share the experience of one of my best shrooms trips.

It was at a Grateful Dead show back in the mid 1980's in Portland Maine.  I was just walking around with a big grin on my face when I stumbled upon a group of 12 or so people holding hands in a circle chanting, "Like a drop of rain flowing to the ocean, we all come from the Goddess and to her we shall return, like a drop of rain... etc etc". There were some beautiful hippy chicks in this circle with rapturous expressions on their faces.  So, I figured, what the hell, and joined the circle, closed my eyes, and joined in the chant.

Every now and then, I would feel someone else take my hand as another person joined the circle.  At one point I felt a soft pull as we all sat down.

Sometimes the chant would slowly morph into an OM chant.  Then a new chant would start up somewhere and the OM chant would morph into that new chant.

It was a very powerful experience for me.  I felt like we were all rising and transcending through spiritual dimensions.  I had never felt so much joy.

When I finally opened my eyes, I could not believe it.  The "circle" had grown to something like 50 people!  It was no longer a circle. It had become more like a very large random tangle of people sitting together holding hands.  Really wild.  I had never experienced anything like that before.  Then the intermission was over and the band started up again.  I wandered back into the arena for the rest of the show.

They played, Day Tripper, by The Beatles and that was just the icing on the cake.

I found out much later that the woman who would eventually become my wife, was also at that show.  It was before she and I had met.  She remembers coming across the large group of people chanting, and thinking, "What a bunch of weirdos".  Little did she know, one day she would marry one of those weirdos.  :shocked:

I'm eating shrooms and truffles. My first trips were with 15g Hollandia, 15g Utopia and 15g Valhalla. I don't get much out of it, basically just shapes are smoothen and differ in size. My cat gets bigger and have beatiful textures and color. My bath towels move when I'm at the toilet and I see shapes moving in my floor, roof and furnitures. But I don't get any other Visuals than that. I want the hallucinations, I want to travel to new places inside my mind and talk to new people or creatures. I want to see stuff more than just enhanced surroundings.

The biggest hallucination I've managed to get is a painting on my wall which had it colors swirl in circles. And one time, I think it was the Utopia trip with lemon shots, I watched myself in the mirror since everyone say pupils are wide open. That time I didn't have any pupils and my pupils were replaced by a circular video playing green forest trees moving by the wind.

I did a dosage calculator with my weight and everything and it said I should eat 28.9g of truffle. So I understand thats might be why I don't see anything special.

It also said I should eat 5.8g of dried shrooms. So yesterday I did eat at least 6g, but I think it was more like 8-10g actually. The trip was intense and it was a bit more intense than the truffle but not really any Visuals.

Do anyone have any tips how to increase the strength of my trips? All my trips have been during the night or late evenings, does it makes a difference if you trip at the light hours of the day? I have done most of my trips once a week but I recently found that 48h is probably what I need to be able to feel something again.

do not eat anyhting for 12hours before you eat them and pour enough lemon juice on them to cover them, 15 minutes before you eat em.

I don't think ive ever once fasted for 12 hours in my life. Let alone before shrooms. And ive tripped my balls off so many times

Hello I live in North Georgia in catoosa county went looking for weilli for first time think I found some but not sure can anyone help. I found them growing in Pune needles in woods they have a brown spore print

do you feel like variation of potency is an issue when you micro like this? Do you use a uniformed powder or do you just use clone or something?

I'm coming up to the end of my 2nd week of a microdose regimen and I would like to have more accuracy in my weights. It's not that I notice a difference, but I think it's important to be as consistent as possible. I have even thought about approaching a very good pharmacist friend about using his equipment to fill my capsules, his scales weigh in 1/1000g mine will only go down to 0.2g

Sometimes tripping is easy..sometimes they last long I don't get crying.  Sometimes the trip is so hard that I think I'm under terror but it is a terror that is so gratifying I would never give it up

Can the raw data behind this poll be released to the forum? Would love to see numbers now that the poll has been out for a long time. Having data about the date each response occurred would be cool too. Might be fun to mess with the data as a data analytics exercise.

Something like between the months of Feb and March of 2017 voters consistently voted that their favorite dose is greater than 6 grams. I don't know. Having the data would be fun if you guys are willing to throw it out there.

yes it is a very practical idea,
it should allow you to hit the 90-110% confidence rate pretty easily if done right, but you have to make sure the powder is fine and well mixed if you want the potency of each capsule to match it's standardised weight.
maybe a liquid extraction is better suited for the task as it is 100% distributed evenly.
I wonder if anyone tried to freeze microdoses of OJ extraction to see how it affects the variability of potency? I think it should be fine only fresh matter cannot stand freezing if I remember well.

I wonder if you could try any potentiating in microdoses, as being close to treshold points would make you very sensitive to any potentiating. Like amphetamines, passiflora or MAOB like syrian rue. Maybe caffeine or cacao could be nice.
