I don't know if it has been answered earlier in this thread, but, what about the questions in the poll that refer to e.g. the times one has tripped? Shouldn't we consider other substances apart from mushrooms? Such as LSD, Mescaline, MDMA? Especially were it says: "How long have you been tripping?".

hey guys,
the results of the poll are very amazing - never got that really 3,5g magic mushrooms (dry I suspect) are the average doses from most of you. For me a little bit "too high" (because it will make me too high, you know  ) but ONE time I took honestly about 6 grams (!!) dry magic shrooms and the insights I had with it.. were not from this world - if anybody are interessted, I would translate my old trip report from here in english for you if some wants.
Anyway: My big questions is (because my gilfriend denies this) HOW MUCH "REAL" ("TRUE") ARE SUCH INSIGHTS FROM AN MAGIC MUSHROOMS TRIP? I mean are my minds really just illusions like most of sceptics said or are they - like my opinion - from a deeper level of your own mind / spirit and so you got somelike special "key" for open such insights and use them to improve your life? They helped me a lot to be a better human - so does it really matter if the insights are "real" or "fake"?? what do you think??

Loved seeing the results of this excellent poll. It would be interesting to add all known psychoactive mushrooms to see what is being consumed. Cubensis is certainly the most common, but so many new species have been found and different species are being cultivated now.

I'd guess because of the bioavailability of many substances taken rectally.
People plug all kinds of things; from alcohol soaked tampons to pills, so why not try it with psychedelics? Thanks for the info Muda, you killed that grain of curiosity!

What is all your preferences on shrooms? Fresh or dried.
I like dry. And i like caps. They digest better and dont make me want to vomit as much. Fresh has never seemed to bemuch of a good experiemce. Weak all around. Plus i hate the juicy mushrooms.

I've only eaten fresh a few times but it's a much better trip than dry. They are at peek potancy the second they're picked.

Hmm I've found fresh mushrooms to go down easier. They might make me more sedated though I'm not sure.
I noticed the fresh ones seemed more introspective and more visual or at least made my visual acuity itself better. I wouldn't say there was more hallucinations than dried ones though.
Micro-dosing fresh mushrooms is extremely beneficial I've noticed especially when you're in a good mood.
