not in this case. If a jar is pinning it's because it's either contamed, or done consolidating. You don't always need to wait that full week.

From my understanding, consolidation will still happen whether inside the jar or not. Most just choose to let it happen inside the jar than out.

Correct, but that's not the main point I'm addressing. The jar's already pinning, so it's ready to go(or contamed). There's no reason to keep it in the jar to consolidate longer, if it's already past the consolidation phase and beginning to fruit.

Germination>Colonization>Consolidation>Fruiting

When I used pint sized jars nearly all of them pinned invitro. I kept to the tek and let them finish n consolidate, at birth the pins were 5-6 inches long, stayed on through the dunk and roll, and became first flush monsters.

That's fine, but it's not necessary at all. Try it out.

Why pints? so fickle. I only half fill pints(gift) and they work out much cleaner and easier.
