humidity, pinning, colonization......should I?
    #530112 - 01/24/02 11:39 AM (22 years, 2 months ago)

My chamber is at 74 degrees, humidity at 94%......have tassies cased 50/50+.......the mycelium has overtaken about 30-40% of the casing. Should I introduce the light now or wait for the mycelium to grown a little more?

Also, the mycelium is a little fluffy and not stringy as I would have liked, will this affect my fruits a lot?

What should I lower the humidty to once the pins are set? And is it ok to take them out of the chamber if I have to remove some perlite to lower the humidty? thanks.

As far as initiating pinning, I would wait 24 more hours. Your temp is good. As far as humidity goes, my friend has some cambos fruiting right now in 50/50 and he screwed up and left the ultrasonic on all night long. Woke up to some tall, straight cambos this morning. But until then he was shooting for about 85% Rh. It seemed to work ok.
The fluffy mycellium might be cobweb but I'm not sure. I had that develop also and things turned out ok. You might want to post a pic in the contam forum.

goodluck
