I bet if Bernie was asked he'd also say that our current levels of immigration do not significantly impact the economic reality of our citizens. But by all means please continue to misrepresent the argument that both Bernie is making and that many if not all of his supporters here make.

Stop attempting to rationalize his economic philosophy, it's exactly what I have been stating for a very LONG time.

Also, stop trying to rationalize the economic impact of immigration, if it didn't matter The Elite would just agree with the peasants and stop all forms of immigration immediately, obviously they're never going to do it.  It's always about the money.

Should I irrationalize it?

You have stated your zero immigration policy many times and no where has Bernie said he expects immigration to be zero. That's you misrepresenting his argument.

Nice strawman, listen to the video- Bernie is stealing my material!!  He has the exact economic philosophy when it comes to immigration.

Bernie doesn't support zero immigration, obviously, but he understands that unfettered immigration is something that the powerful elite want, and benefit from, more than the middle class.

That like the 1 millionth time you've tried to point out a straw man fallacy when it doesn't exist.

Your policy is zero immigration. Bernie's is not. Please refute.

In the video you posted "open borders" was said, to which Bernie countered.

Neither you, nor me, nor any of the other Bernie supporters, nor Bernie want open borders. We all agree that border protections are necessary. We all also agree that increased border protections will present little net positive gain for our citizens and economy and might actually create a net loss.

So to be clear, qman's staunch anti-immigration (a zero immigration policy) is not the same as what qman has presented, this despite the fact that qman as well as most of us agree that immigration should be controlled.

immigration is small potatoes and the issue is essentially intractable in the current climate.  The ONLY reason we are constantly bombarded with immigration nonsense is that the public has fatigue for other wedge issues currently.  When people get tired of this one, it'll be right back to Roe v. Wade or some other polarizing and intractable issue.  This isn't an accident.  There are a host of issues that reasonable people could find common ground on but we don't discuss those on t.v.  Wedge politics exist in order to keep reasonable people from unifying behind candidates that might actually address some of the serious issues that face our country, like campaign finance reform, or badly needed infrastructure upgrades.  As long as the public is willing to be enamored with BULLSHIT wedge issues like immigration, we'll never get anything accomplished with regard to shedding the yoke of our billionaire overlords, and that's just the way they like it.

I moved out of my district to help my dad out after my aunt died.  Never even got to file the paperwork.
Also, let's face it, nobody actually wins their L.A. county supervisor seat in an election.  That would be like winning a sheriff job in an election...which, come to think of it, actually did happen last year.

No.  Most of them actually know that by imposing a 2.2% income tax on the poor and middle class, the cost of their healthcare goes down by more a lot more than the tax increase, and the bottom 95% come out ahead.

First of all, you put something in quotes that no one ever said.  That's known as lying.

Second, you cited a figure that even the anti-immigrant 'Center for Immigration Studies' has conceded "the findings are unsupportable".

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
