Here you go.....CNN hires who?

https://www.vox.com/2019/2/19/18231993/cnn-gop-operative-2020-election-coverage

CNN announced on Tuesday it has hired longtime Republican operative Sarah Isgur as political editor, charged with shaping its 2020 campaign coverage.

According to a CNN spokesperson, Isgur, who most recently worked as the Department of Justice’s main spokesperson under then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, will coordinate the network’s political coverage for the 2020 election cycle on TV and on CNN’s website. Isgur starts work next month, and will not be involved in coverage of DOJ. She will occasionally appear on TV.

Isgur’s LinkedIn page indicates she has no journalism experience. She has, however, worked for a variety of right-wing organizations and campaigns, including the Carly Fiorina and Mitt Romney presidential bids, the Republican National Committee, and a Ted Cruz US Senate campaign.

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

Holy shit.

CNN is a real piece of shit. Every news is going to become Fox News.

Every news was always Fox. It's just degrees of smear but the underlying message is always the same.

Yes, but having Isgur as their political editor will likely give them a more right wing slant. Fox News has always been more right wing than CNN.

I just think they want someone who will protect the establishment candidates in the 2020 campaign coverage.  Sanders and Gabbard will be vilified on CNN, Harris and Biden will be heroes.

I was debating who to support for 2020, but it looks like Bernie's off to one hell of a start, collecting over $4 million in his first 12 hours (new record)!!!

He's the reason why anyone is even talking about Medicare for All, and all the other progressive things that the other candidates are no longer afraid to mention, so I just decided to go all in for Bernie and make my own contribution.

Exactly as everyone predicted (except maybe koods who clearly doesn't understand the establishment media), the mainstream media is going on full attack.

Washington Post:  Bernie, your moment has come — and gone
New York Times:  Jimmy Fallon Gets in Costume to Roast Bernie Sanders
CNN:  5 reasons to be skeptical of Bernie Sanders' 2020 bid
CBS:  Some New Hampshire Dems want Bernie Sanders' ideas, but not Sanders

At least there's one media outlet which remains fairly neutral:

RT America:  Bernie Sanders announces 2020 presidential bid

Socail justice s fucking hard to impliment without being 100% retroactive.  Most criminals were raised hat way and a lot of circumstance plays into the equation.  Trying to not play the roll myself.

Being a victim raises a certain level of suffering.  Suffering helps no one.  If I was never a victim I'd never been convicted.  That's not the case for everyone.  But it is a lot.

So I have little hope things will improve much with any leadership.  My life did improve with Obama, but not enough.  It's still bottom feeding.  His life improved much more than mine.  So that will be the case for most leadership.  Their vision over mine.

Yeah, we'll see how that works for them. I wonder how they think smearing Bernie will work, when it made Trump president lol

If you don’t think the media class would rather have trump as president you’re fooling yourself.

Thats not what I was saying. I personally think many Democratic politicians would prefer Trump to Bernie.

I was saying that the media attacked Trump regularly during his campaign, and it ended up making him president. I know there are a lot of other factors, but I think attacking Bernie only makes him more appealing to a lot of people.

You may be right.

Unfortunately Hillary losing and the ensuing russiagate has broken liberal brains to the point of actually giving the media utmost credulity.

You think so?

The only person I know who trusts the news is my mom... And my grandparents.. My mom watches CNN all day every day, and my grandparents watch Fox lol

Im not a very social person, though, so I don't know what people are thinking. I think there is a generational rift in news sourcing.

They will only attack him if he's a threat, otherwise ignoring him makes much more sense.

Trump was a different case entirely, he made strong ratings and the MSM couldn't stop covering him for that reason.

The media covered Trump nonstop because

1. His outrageous rhetoric made for good ratings
2. The Hillary camp elevated him intentionally

They ignored Bernie in 2016 because they could, but now his ideas are mainstream, every other candidate is running on his platform, and he’s the clear frontrunner. So instead they’ll just downplay his chances and cross their fingers.
