You're absolutely correct, and the plain truth of the matter is, there is a perpetrator. The problem is, many people in this country have trouble identifying who that is. The perpetrator is the government officials, and big moneyed interests that influence them, to create institutions that serve their masters, at the expense of the people.

It's all well and good to have an enemy figure, but lets be sure to properly identify who that is. It's not white people. It's not black people. It's not Muslim people. It's not even rich people. It's the rich people who use their wealth to influence policy, and thwart the democratic process, here in America. It's the politicians that abuse the powers bestowed upon them. It's the institutions that profit from the pain of the people. It's the war profiteers, etc.
