How much traction do you think he needs?  If he can take 5% of the Democratic vote from a progressive Democrat, that's probably enough for Trump to win.  Hell, 1% might be enough.

I think that it's going to be a very hotly discussed issues. Even 1% of the vote may prove difficult. A lot more people are starting to understand how the system works these days. I guess I could be wrong.

He won't be in the debates. It will cost a lot of money for him to have an impact, in my mind.

Another point is that, he could probably take votes from Trump, from Republicans who are sick of Trump, but don't wanna vote for Bernie (After he is nominated, that is)

I'm guessing you're wrong, because if a progressive wins the Democratic party, CNN, MSNBC, and all the other establishment channels that a large number of people still watch would all back Schultz over a progressive Democrat (billionaires own the establishment media).

I very well might be. As I said before the last primaries, this is going to be a fucking circus. This time will be worse than last time. I think that if the establishment gets caught engaging in a bunch of dirty tricks, people are going to lose their fucking minds this time around.

They always get caught in dirty tricks.  But they don't report themselves, so the mainstream media crowd never finds out.

Dude, that story totally harshed my vibe.  I was super optimistic about Bernie (or his equivalent) until this news came out.

What can be done?  I just hope enough people read alternative news I guess, which is asking too much I think.

You know, thinking more about that 3rd party bid... I could really see Tulsi Gabbard pulling it off more than Bernie. I just wish she wasn't Hindu, but Trump will already be taking the evangelical vote, regardless. I just think Tulsi would be scalping votes for being a woman, and a minority, and she's very likeable and well spoken... I could see her being the better candidate, even if I prefer Bernie. I think people would come out in droves for her vs Trump or billionaire dude.

She'd obviously have a lot of support from Sanders.

Tulsi seems outstanding, but the establishment media will fry her NO MATTER WHAT.  People aren't smart enough to understand the establishment media is the mouthpiece of the rich.  Even koods still trusts the establishment media after getting burned like 100 times.

Don't be so cynical, buddy!

She's already been playing the alternative media game. Bernie Sanders got quite far without establishment media. It would be truly hilarious to watch media organizations, such as CNN, who have been attacking Trump for years now, suddenly do an about face, and go after his opponent lol! How can anyone take that seriously.

More than 3 in 4 believe traditional media reports ‘fake news’: poll

I did find it quite funny how they are presenting Kamala as if her taking office would be LeGeNdArY, because she's part black, and a woman, but make no mention of the fact that Tulsi is Indian, Hindu, and also a woman! Just that she used to be against gay rights lol

Gabbard doing an interview on CNN. She really does sounds presidential. Moreso than Clinton ever did. To me anyway. I really hope she does well.

She's a fucking veteran too. Put that up against a draft dodging piece of shit like Trump. I dunno man, I'm excited to see how things shake out. I just can't see an establishment democrat beating Sanders or her.

At least he says he wont run as a 3rd party spoiler and help Trump win. He also said he wont run as a Democrat because the party has moved too far to left. So I guess that means he's going to run as a Republican. I think he just had his 15 minutes of fame.

I didn't hear him say that he wouldn't run as an independent. He said that he wouldn't be a spoiler, but he didn't say he wouldn't run independently. He deflected the question.

My favorite thing about this interview, is that he says that to run as a Democrat, you have to support medicare for all, and tuition free public colleges. That means Bernie Sanders did exactly what he intended to do. Bernie Sanders put progressive issues at the forefront of the conversation. He radically changed the party.

Maybe I misinterpreted him. I thought by saying he would not be a spoiler he meant he would not run independent. My reasoning is that any independent Presidential candidate who gets any real number of votes does act as a spoiler. But I see your point and he may well be selling snake oil.
