If you have a strong will and know to limit yourself, yes.

If you have any doubts at all about your personality, no. It's too easy to go from 1-2x a week, to daily, to multiple times a day and then you end up balls deep.

I think there is a place for healthy use though and opiates are one of the least damaging drugs if used responsibly.

given that this community has had alot of death directly from opiates, the negative stigma is large.

personally I find a recreational value to them, but I am a person who has been through a lot of benzo wd. opiate wd is less than the pain of that, or caffeine, even nicotine. it's strictly a restraint thing.

if you have the self control to go through the wd without allowing yourself to stop the pain by using again before you recover, then you can use opiates recreationally. if you can't let yourself feel that pain, you are 100% not a candidate for use.

that's apart from the possible od if you aren't able to control your use, or are not using exactified mg/ug doses.

it's playing with fire. nothing good to come out of it really.

I used to responsibly insufflate heroin once or twice a month.  Then i ODed my very first time IVing it.  Except for a single IN hydromorphone dose, i have'nt had an opioid since.  Chipping does'nt bypass the OD risk.  And honestly, i only miss IN heroin just a tiny bit.  To me, kava is better in just about every way(and yes, certainly absinthe too but i cant have that anymore).  Candy tastes really good on heroin and i really liked the act and taste ov sniffing it but that's about it.  Not recommended.

well i consider salvia as being the best opiate as heroin is trash and just masks the pain, salvia will resolve it for you... also norco vicodin is pretty legit, oxycodone and dilaudid aren't really for script use tho......

I've tried Kava Kava quite a few times and never got anything that good out of it. At best it made me feel like I got really drunk but without the nausea to follow it. I've always wondered why people liked it or if I was using it wrong or used too little / too much.

How do you go about doing it?

I love kava kava! though it most definitely depends on the strain you get, and the processing method. I have a pound from cactus kava and I haven't had any better as far as taste... but for potency, which was a complete fluke, there was one bag of kava king which would make it difficult to walk on one bowl.

Industry standardization is still not really a thing, so what you get pound to pound still varies.

Some people just do'nt respond well to kava.  Everyone i have made kava for responds great to it however.  I prefer to use a coconut juice base but water is okay when i'm too cheap or lazy to stock up.  Every sock gets about 4 squeezings for 4 shells spaced apart(i can prepare beforehand for a more linear brew).  Personally, i can go through 12-18 shells on a kava day but i like to go deep with it(some effects plateau, some are progressive).  Most do'nt like or need that much.  My lover is floored by a shell or 2 ov my kava.  Fantastic stuff.  Creative, euphoric, tactile, anxiolytic, social without buffoonery, super aphrodisiac.  Love it.

To be honest I've always boughten it from a shop already extracted so I have no clue, but after a few varieties I just figured it was a weird substance. To be fair, I should probably do a proper extraction on my own but I always wanted to wet my feet with it and just give it a shot. I hear about a lot of people loving Kava and its typically from people doing their own extractions so I question it...

I think the biggest reason I didn't continue was that I had bought Kratom at the same time and that was everything I had wanted and more

You're supposed to wet your tongue, throat, and tummy with it, not your feet.  I do'nt think it'll absorb through your feet very well.

opiates were the first drug i ever used

Stole a few oxycodone from my mom when i was like 11.

Holy fuck that was a feeling i will never forget in my entire life. I took like 30mg and was beyond fucked up. I was like 130 pounds and completely opiate naive and i just nodded off into euphoria lala land for like 4 hours then fell into the best sleep.

They dont do that to me anymore though :sad:

Ive never IVed heroin, but id imagine thats as close as i could get to that first time

Only if you are crazy disciplined, know your source/product, and have enough steady income.


In the end, it makes you numb too emotion so it's not worth it even if you can control it. When you are on opiates, you don't laugh, music doesn't make feel like it usually does, sex drive goes away, slight constipation..and some other downsides.


Overall, not worth even trying. Good luck


Edit: in the end, humans were not created to feel like that everyday.
