The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein

Distract yourself with more opiates, since they are not at all addictive or anything.

I love opiates, they make it feel like euphoria flows through my brain. But if your not careful they can enslave the mind

That's because when you become addicted to something that fast, it isn't physical addiction. Physical addiction builds over time. Just because you don't get the sensation of psychological addiction, it does not mean you're immune to addiction. And it's well known that opiate addiction, once it's fastened it's seatbelt in your brain, is one of the worst addictions to get rid of. Be careful, moderate, and stick to it. This applies to every drug.

You'll never know what addiction is like until you try to stop. Maybe you should give it a shot with alcohol and see what it's like.

If you're already an alcoholic, I wouldn't bet on them "not being addictive" to you.

I like my drugs but opiates make me itchy and nauseous. Tends to keep me away.

Whoa, dude.

Who brought this thread up?

I was reading it, and I saw lortab's name.

And I was like, no way, man, lortab's dead. How the fuck did someone else register his name?

I should IM and tell them it's probably some kind of serious bad luck to (I scroll up and see the post date)

Shit.

The title under his name now looks disturbingly ominous.

Not as much "ominous" as "sad and ironic"

Is this strange?

well...opiates are no doubt very enjoyable. But its not the psychological addiction that is the problem...its the physical. Try drinking pod tea every day for 2-3 weeks...if you suddenly stop you will get very very sick. Opiates aren't really one of those drugs you take, and BAM you know you are addicted. You have to take it a lot over time so your body becomes dependent off of that source of opiate. Believe me you WILL withdrawl if you take it daily for a few weeks. Its not something you can manage with a strong mind.
