I'm more impressed by AlphaStar now. Especially since the creators of the AI have comparatively little idea how to play Starcraft competitively are are just guessing. It really showcases how much AI does on it's own to learn given simple parameters.

Yes. I studied it a lot. The games are beautiful; --

So - as a recap; Alpha Star played TLO -- a professional Starcraft player who is not Korean . . . (this may seem unnecessary or unusual, and probably will go out of use, but but it's common enough at the moment, as many or most of the top players are [South] Korean).. (Sorry for that aside. . . actually I don't post so much lately but I guess I got into this one.)

TLO is a pro - but he was off-race, that's just that he was not in his usual race.....  I don't know exactly why that was the case -- But he certainly is still formidable.  Alpha Star did a few things like continually sending his army over.  This makes a lot of sense in fact. . . Terrans do this a lot of times, continually adding to their army.

Alpha Star made exuberant use of Disruptors -- these are a "Micro heavy" unit which sends a blast which the user directs. The air-to-air game, one ine which both players got Carriers and an air army -- Alpha Star played this one extremely well. It showed restraint in some very key places, which won the game. . . Showed restraint and then won the air-battle in a very quick time...
