Is this Allenii?

Wow, Saturday was a big day for this noob's mushroom hunting.  On my morning run in the east bay, California, I found an Amanita Muscaria  before I went out to hunt--so beautiful but I don't want to eat it.

Later that day I went hunting in an area where I had participated a couple of weeks before in the 100+ people mushroom hunt with Alan Rockefeller.  (Thank you Alan!)

I found quite a few inactives and exactly one fruiting body that I think is P. Allenii.  It must have somehow escaped the hordes of pickers. I am grateful.

Habitat:

found on wood chips on a college campus in an area with heavy foot traffic, see photos

Gills:
attached

Stem:
Length: 3 cm, diameter: 1 cm, color:  white at the top, bluish becoming black going to towards the base, solid, thick, tough (does not break easily
Cap: cream colored with a hole in the center, yellow/brownish in the middle, one part on the edge bruised blue starting a couple of minutes after I squeezed it as a test
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
see photo, I would call it purple brown but this is my first solo find so I am uncertain

Bruising:
bluish, stem was really dark blue verging into black

found in Berkeley, California on January 19, 2019

Thank You Doc and Zen.  I have the stem in wet cardboard. When it has propagated I am looking forward to letting the mycelium 'run' around the neighborhood.

You can scrape the prints into a water bottle or spray bottle and spread them around to the different landscaping areas with woodchips.

Doc, your suggestion raises a question for me.  Would it be fine to do that on woodchips that already have established mycelium from other species?  Or, would it be better to wait for fresh woodchips to be dumped and then spray?

Existing chips are fine,  they grow fine with other species, I would spread them around close to your location, it will be next year before you benefit from what you spread this year, but you may also stumble upon some other unknown patches in the mean time. It's always good to give back and I believe the mushrooms reward us for our efforts.
