Why not invest in a nice index fund. Stop thinking about getting rich quick. That kind of thinking will not serve you well in life

I had some around the same time from mining and sold them. Now I'm just bitter and refuse to buy back in. I might consider buying an ASIC or whatever they use to mine these days if there was an ok one for $100 or so.

I think the bubble in 2017 might be just a small blip on the graph in a few years. At least until a better coin comes out.

I was honestly thinking people were just selling their coins for black friday and that was partly why I got some.

IMO the way to trade coins is to wait until it gets volatile and just buy during negative spikes. High frequency trading is the best bet plus it hones your ability to speculate.

So much bitcoin wealth is concentrated with such a small number of people, it really isn’t a game for the little guy. The little guy is nothing but a sucker. It may work out from time to time, but more than any other asset in modern times, cryptos are a way for the big guy to scam the little guys

Now is a GREAT time to buy, honestly, I've beeen praying for this.

Fingers crossed for 1500.
Your naive and ignorant if you think you'll ever see btc prices that low again. Or that a crypto designed by a private company, regardless of how decentralized it is, will overtake Bitcoin anytime soon. The infrastructure is becoming seamless with regards to purchasing, spending, and selling.
Ohio just announced that people are now able to pay taxes with btc. It's already begun to rebound since dropping below 3700..

I predict a glorious fucking spring.

I own 6 ASICS they barely make anything anymore and when they release better models they always jack the price like crazy. Also, usually if they're releasing a better model (bitmain) it means they have an even better one in the works or ready that they will then mine with for months before it gets released to the public. This causes the difficulty level to go up significantly meaning the miner you buy from them will make fuck all.

At the electricity price I pay here I make so little off my ASICs now that I don't even run them. Some literally make nothing.

If bitcoin goes up significantly it could be worth it maybe, but that is too much of a gamble for me.

tl;dr I don't recommend crypto mining for the average person anymore. The companies like bitmain that both make ASIC chips and use them to mine in massive chinese mining operations make it nearly impossible to make money off it.

I owned 300 bitcoins that I bought for $10 each. HODL

More like 1k

If you're feeling confident let's bet on that but remove the April timeline, a full bitcoin is the price for losing and the bet is whether it will hit 1k or reach new all time highs first regardless of timeline, so I'll bet it reaches new all time highs before going as low as 1k. If you're not feeling as confident, I'm willing to bet a dollar.

its not the price you should be looking at, but the technology and future potential. All the time in humanities history rich people get richer and play their own games, the same is with crypto.. But it is from tech side amazing discovery in our lifetime, don't be so weak and fall back into the bankers pocket. They own you if you own fiat money, goodluck

And I don't know what the mantis is praying for
But he's probably just thanking the Lord
That he don't live in a home
And he don't got a phone
And he don't sit around all angry and bored
