Hate to say that I'm going to have to cancel my entry for the grow along, but  will be watching you guys.

Can't find adequate jars for pf-tek besides some actual jam jars I saw in the supermarket and I ain't buying 5 kilos of no jelly sorry.
Also, being a seasonal grower I'm really busy right now with ongoing projects and really don't have the time for a pf-tek grow, but fuck I wish I could, some day I swear... some day.

I was really looking forward to see your cakes, I'm sure you'd rock those as well
Thanks for letting us know you'll stop by another time

Also BLI is recovering nicely, usually I have full colonization in 8-10 days with BLI>BRF.
As soon as these get birthed and jars become free I start making new jars  :stirthepot:

I will join for my first time fruiting cakes.  I have 4 jars of GT ready and will dunk tonight.  I will fruit some cakes from PES Amazonian jars I have colonizing too but they have a couple weeks yet.

Also have a few cake spawn shoe boxes going that I'll share.

Looking forward to fruiting first cakes and having you all along for the journey.

yes also hardware stores are really good for carrying canning supplies, they usually carry the 1/2pint widebois that are imho far far more optimal for myc than the taller variety

You'd be shocked to see how difficult it is to find most materials for this hobby in Europe, even the most basic ones. It is even worse where I live.

Dude, I've been experimenting with these tupwaware containers. The ones on the left and middle are a bit smol, but the ones with the black lids are about 1/2 pint size. They all work fine though.

I got absent minded and forgot to take pictures along the way, it's not really in my routine. Spawned to bulk finally and I'll make a note to post some pics. Everything's still going as planned though!
