DreamReality's Mono Flip Tek * 2

Sometimes I find myself in a position where I want to change my liner, add one that wasn't there before and/or harvest a bottom flush.



The following tek can work with a wide variety of items and growing containers. I almost always use Pasty's Mini Mono Tek for my grows. I noticed a 6qt shoebox lid fits perfectly inside of the mini without scraping the sides.

Things you'll need:

-A fresh liner (I just cut the sides and bottom off a trash bag. That way 1 bag makes 2 liners)
-Cutting utensil (Razor blade, scissors, x-acto, etc.)
-Shoebox lid, cardboard, baking tray, anything that won't bend


You'll want to harvest any top growth before you start the flip.



Once the top and sides are cleared away enough to create a level surface, place your liner inside.



Remove the polyfill and add stabilizing structure of choice



With one hand holding your stabilizing structure use the other to carefully rotate the growing container.







Now you can harvest any bottom growth with ease.

If you want to flip it back to the other side:

- Cover the cake with the unused liner (if you split a trash bag in half)
- Place another stabilizing structure on top of the second liner.
- Carefully slide your bottom stabilizing structure to the edge of the table to get a good grip on it.
- With one hand on top and the other on the bottom, rotate the cake back to the desired side

When you're done, grab the ends of the bag and use it to lift the cake so you can set it back gently into your grow container.



Use your cutting utensil to cut away excess liner by dragging it along the walls of your container and you're all set.

nice!  using another empty tub works well too.  then u don't have to hold the lid.    I had a full bottom canopy one time. it  lifted the whole sub up about an inch
