Did you read the link?

Not yet in the White House but working the phones as if he were, Barack Obama won a crucial Senate vote Thursday clearing the release of $350 billion more in bailout funds from the Treasury Department’s controversial financial rescue program.

Which means that if Trump wants a high score, he need s to get $351B in bailouts out to companies.

So far, they seem to be going to his and his friend's companies, though. Not the banks that control the very existence of money.

One seems to fund the necessary evils in society, and the other seems to fund himself. Oh, feel free to rail against banks some more, and argue that they;re unnecessary evils. Then try buying gas with a cabbage. Or a wheelbarrow of cabbage.

It’s not good for joe six pack. The problem is joe six pack is an ignorant moron and voted for someone who doesn’t understand economics. The rest of the world learned that tarrifs do not benefit anyone decades ago.

You thought liberals want to stick it to Wall Street? Again, you are wrong. Liberals just want wall street to be held responsible when they commit crimes. If you’re Mexican and you commit a misdemeanor you lose your kids. If you’re a banker you get a bailout after committing a billion dollar fraud.

The rest of world has benefited at the expense of the US working class, what did Obama do for them? Not a dam thing.

If the rest of the world thinks tariffs are so bad, why do they use them while the US doesn't?  I don't think you even understand what's going on.

Some countries still use tarrifs to fund their governments, as the US did until 100 years ago.

Almost all modern economies use tarrifs sparingly.

Well, back then we didn't have taxes. With the deficit though, we'll need both.

Which link there have been like 2-3+.

Why not quote that part to confirm it for us all?

Also how would Obama win a senate vote on a move started by Bush? That seems weird.

That article was written on 1/15/2009. Obama wasn’t even president yet. Those were the days. When a president elect wasn’t trying to undermine the current president’s policies.  When the bailout bill passed, he hadn’t even been elected.

You’re also assuming I don’t agree with the bailouts. I think it was the right move. That doesn’t change the fact that you seem to be ascribing the bailouts to Obama when it wasn’t his bill because he wasn’t president.

Don't worry, all of this talk about economic tariffs is just theater.

It would cost the people in power incredible amounts of money, not gonna happen.

Sure, just like all the times the white house has assured the public "trump is just kidding" only for it to turn out he was totally serious....

Lmao how can you say the US economy is fine?

On a relative basis, it's true. The stock, bond and real estate markets are near all-time highs, and the US dollar is once again the best shirt in a dirty laundry bag.

Obviously, the US worker has no wage growth and mountains of debt. The people in power have what they want, low growth, low inflation, low commodity prices and no wage pressure.

Yes it started doing better, under obama after he fixed some of Bush's mess. Trump is already steering us back down again if things continue this way... But at least the next recession will hit in time to blame a democrat just like last time :facepalm3:

There's absolutely no difference between the Obama and Trump economy. Maybe that will change down the road, but for now it's all the same.

That is my point. Obama fixed bush's mess, trump has tried taking credit for the current economy even though like you said there has been little to no difference, if anything seems there has been a negative difference thanks to trump...
