I don't think there are any cash prizes, but let me know if you find out otherwise.

Is there a way to make windows automatically run it if it crashes. If I leave it overnight, it crashes so I probably lost a significant amount of progress. Also, how do you get those rad F@H little twisty things under your name?

Just a reminder for the PS3 owners out there (all two of you) - firmware version 1.6 includes a Folding@home client which offers much better performance than its PC counterpart. Be sure to update to this latest version so you can put your PS3 to work folding for team 12679!

I plan on adding my PS3 to the shroomery team once I download 1.6 tomorrow. From what I have read the PS3's online with F@H so far have beat out the thousands upon thousands of pc's out there as far as FLOP performance. Hopefully some Shroomerites with PS3's will help out cuz if not we may get left behind by all PS3 teams.

I have TONS of folding points, but they are with another team. Anyone know if it is possible to move points from one team to another?

Do you mean that when you check your stats it doesn't show any recently completed work units? Check the client.cfg file in your Folding@home directory and make sure you have your name entered properly. If you're still having problems could you maybe explain the issue a little better, and post the contents of your FAHlog.txt file? Thanks.

Unfortunately it's not possible. But any new points you earn for team Shroomery are appreciated!!

In your basic settings, scroll down about half way and fill in the "Folding@home Username" field. You must have submitted at least one work unit for our team first.

Hope this helps, welcome all new team members!

i just wanted to kick this thread up again.

spark up some interest if you see where this dust cloud is rollin.

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Since the GPU client uses DirectX, a version for Linux is probably pretty far off unfortunately.
