Folding@home....transferring WU from one client to another?

so i switched form the screensaver to the text client....
how do i move the screensaver work units to the other client?

I don't know that you can... but as long as you use the same team number and user  name, you won't loose any of the credit that you have built up.  The  only difference is your local client's work unit count will be off.  No biggie, if you ask me.  :smile:

The 'console' (text) version of [Email]F@H[/Email] is kind of lame in the way that it automaticaly installs into the directory you run the install file from.

This worked for me when switching from graphical to console, so it should also work for the screensaver. 

Hopefully you havent let let console run long enough yet.

Uninstall the console client, cut and paste the installation file into the original [Email]F@H[/Email] directory (where the screensaver was installed) and run it from there.  This will reinstall in the original directory.

The console should continue the work unit in the 'work' folder from the SS.

However, if you dont like the location of the original [Email]F@H[/Email] screensaver, i'm not really sure how you'd move the work unit over to the new console location.
You might have to go into the registry.

What you might want to do is go to the website and ask in the forums.
