Why is murica so opposed to third parties?

Im curious as to why EVEN NOW with fucking trump as a candidate that almost what over 99% of muricans think they still need to vote for one or the other. Like yes third parties all around the world arnt designed to run the government. But they do hold the balance of power and can be very important figures in getting bills past. Which could solve the problem that you seem to have with getting bills past. Either major party need to work with these smaller parties in order to get bills across.

For example in my country we have both a shooters and Auto party who both have one member but hold an ENORMOUS amount of power because these can be vital votes in order to get other bills past in return for passing there legislation. We also have the "greens" which hold quite a few seats and plays an even bigger role.

Does your system not run like that? Just curious as to why people seem so opposed to it.

First off nobody is going to take you seriously calling us "muricans".  Every post you make is a dig at America.       
 
  Second, we aint perfect but we have a lot more freedom than Australia.

Stop being a potato. Your actually considering electing TRUMP as a president. Your country deserves to be called murica. If your so fucking offended by a little word please go cry in a corner.

Every time I comment I am being factual. I dont get emotional and I never take stabs at anyone personally. Its always you lot that get personal and offensive. You never present any rational arugments and just argue that im a bad person. Listen to your own fucking freedom of speech bs. If you dont like it dont listen to it. I can present my argument logically and if you have the facts to prove it wrong go right ahead.

Just curious what freedoms you guys have that other first world countries don't? I mean besides the freedom to own stupidly oversized guns. Which frankly just concerns the rest of us that you care so much about.
