Describe how it felt to pick homegrown shrooms for the first time

This may be better suited for cultivation but anyways.. I just wanted to hear some opinions lol cuz for me it was so weird like almost gross i didn't actually wanna touch it (as if itd bite me) and that fresh waxy feel was new to me

This to the max. After waiting what felt like forever for the jars to show growth and then completely colonize and consolidate, then more time for them to pin.
Months after researching cultivation my first time my viels finally ripped. The whole time I just want to eat them so bad. And now they were just sitting there ready to be picked and I could just sit there and look at them growing off the cake so beautiful and full of life.

Pictures of fresh shrooms do them no justice, just like pussy.

Yeah, thanks for that song, it is dope.  Definitely like the 60's lounge jazz feel layered over the trip-hoppy beat.  Will delve more into that artist.
EDIT: Lol, didn't realize it was from Samurai Champloo.  Makes sense why it reminded me a bit of Yoko Kanno and Pizzicato Five.  I fucking LOVE Japanese Mod 60s revival, although the rest of the soundtrack may turn out to be a little too hip-hop for my taste, I dig that track.  :lol:

For me with all the longing and fantasising I think I kind of over mystified them in my mind so much that when I finally started picking them I was kind of like hum these are just fricking mushrooms!

I guess that’s why the shroomerys main declaration on the title page is magic mushrooms demystified!
