does bruising affect potency?

so yeah i cut up the mofos into lots of smaller pieces to help em dry faster, and they're bruised blue all over and shit... i was wondering if this causes a significant loss of potency... i've heard mixed opinions on this... i'm thinkin it doesnt really affect them much since some ppl talk about eating powdered mush and whatnot, and the simple fact people that chew them before swallowing... anyone have any info?? thx

well, since you cut them up fresh, I'm assuming that would be the cause of the bruising. Cutting them up after they are dry usually wont cause bruising in most cases. Correct me if I'm wrong, but bruising causes oxidation, which is a loss in potency. I'm sure they're still just as good, though.

i cut mine all up to help them dry and they bruised like a mothafucker, took 5 grams dry powder and thought i was litterally controling time! so, not much potency is lost, or at least noticable. by the way, don't recomend taking more than 3 or 4 grams dry! 5 was WAY too much for me!

I cut mine up as well and have never noticed a potency loss...I'm currently coming down off of 6.5gs dry eq strain....little too high for me....think I'll stick with 5
