Myrtillocactus makes good grafting stock from what I hear, about as good as San Pedro.

a freind of mine grafted peyos onto blue myrtle, and san pedro. the myrtle took much faster, and gnew growth on the peyos was seen in a few days. the graft onto the san padro took a little longer to seal, and though no new growth (like the others) was noticed...a pup began to emerge very soon after the graft took. both make great graft stock, but just be sure that you have a nice thick plant...as thin plants (normally grown form seed) will topple over as they (the payos) grow too big:)
good luck with your info gathering...or grafting...or whatever it is your doing , m69

He understands its illegal, what would be the correct way for him to go about it? maybe make friends with a certain someone or? He is 75% Native American 50% Patowatami and 25% navajo. Anyway he couse use that for him? Thanks, i just want to help ster him in the right way. I however got to experiance a peyote ceremony with my grandad 2 3 months before he died. I think he knew it was soon and wanted me to experiance it. I still cannot explain how it made me feel, I am the only one of the family who is into ethnobotanicals other than my late grandad but my parents and family are supportive.

The correct way is very carefully. I'm not condoning nor affording information on exactly how to obtain the seeds. They're hard to get and it's illegal to posess them or import them. If you want to do it you should figure it out on your own and not wrap any of the reest of us up into conspiring to do it.
