For the metal guitarists out there

#19433338 - 01/17/14 03:47 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

I'm considering buying a new tube amp soon, any personal recommendations?

It will mainly be for bedroom use, although I would like something with a decent amount of power in case I ever want/need to gig with it

My budget is around 6-800, preferably less but I am willing to spend a good amount if it's worth it. I'm a huge fan of extreme genres of metal, my favorites being bands such as Meshuggah, Gorod and Vildhjarta, and I mainly seek an amp that is suited for such types of music

I personally love the sound of a good crate amp. They have an awesome crunch and a great clean tone
