I find myself handling dairy products like i would a grain jar.

I've noticed that I've developed a habit of handling dairy products like milk, sour cream, French onion dip, cottage cheese, like I would an open grain jar.  Haha minus the alcohol wipe.  I never put my hands above the product, only around the rim, and I try to get the lid back on as quickly as possible avoiding airborne contaminants. I found this interesting but yet, its probably increasing its shelf life.  Also I always used to eat or drink right from the container... Not anymore I don't. I put it in a glass or a bowl.  No contaminated chips, spoons, or mouths are touching the dairy items in my fridge haha :P

Anyone else experienced this? I thought it was pretty funny that i started making this a habit.
