Deconica species? Odd LBM. purplish spore print.

North GA, down in the hollers. Sandy and spongy clay soil with lots of decaying woody debris. This is the second collection of this species from different locations. The first was collected by my mother on a group foray I was guiding. Anyway, the cap has a very interesting texture, with little fibrous hairs similar to Deconica naematoliformis, or almost like Gymnopilus. The stem and caps of younger specimens are covered with a fine white fibril-like material that rubs away easily. Gills were hard to photograph, but are brownish with a light brown edge. Spore print is pending again for photography, seems to not want to drop anything. I'm sure a lot of you are thinking Inocybe. I find those LBM's in a similar area, and I am familiar with the radial fibres on the cap, which these do not have. Also, Cortinarius acutus which are larger in stature, more white stem with annular zone, and clearly rust orange print. So, I lean towards Deconica again for these, unless someone can point me in another direction? Thoughts? I have 4 samples of these.

Have you eliminated the possibility of a Hypholoma sp.?
Not meaning to make things difficult, just my thought. Waiting to see the print.

Ooh interesting suggestion. Its cap texture with the little hairy bits is similar to Hypholoma, but in a lot of other regards it doesn't remind me of Hypholoma at all. Do have a Hypholoma species in mind or did the cap texture clue you in on that genus?

What would your best guess at another genus besides Deconica be? I don't even know where to begin.
