Nice work! I have had similar situatations this summer, but they were also all mixed collections with castaneifolius...never that many subbs in one sitting...again nice haul.

RIP Matt, your friendship and your contributions to the world of fungi will be missed. Unfortunately we never got to hunt together.

Hello Mr. Mushroom & Friends,

Mr. Mushroom,
DDid you ever recieve any spore prints of the suspected Panaeolus castaneifolius from Shroomer 'Peaceful Nomad'??

Anywho, i finally got my hands on my old spore library that was stolen.. a lot of damage has been done to this library but to our luck i do indeed have some labeled Pan Caster!~
So, i would like to send you a sample to look at under the scope.
--Personal Message me an adress to send them to please because i could not seem to find the old PM with the adress.

....as for every in this post.
- I dunno about everything else, but, i believe that Pan castaneifolius render Black spore prints.

Panaeolus foenisecii is actually Panaeolina foenisecii,
I do not believe it is in the same family as;
Panaeolus and Copelandia.
It is a Panaeolina mushroom and that explains in part why the
color of that mushrooms spore print is not black.

Well keep shroomin,

Keep shroomin,
GG
