Back when I was a teenager,if some dude ratted me out and I knew it was him,he would have been fucked. Kids,especially from this generation,can be pretty irrational.

The kid who stole my bike messaged me just there that he would steal a decent bike for me, but I don’t want fucking stolen property. I just want my fucking bike back ffs. I have a sort of elaborate plan though. I will get him to get me another decent bike then we meet up somewhere near a park and my brothers, cousins and me will hold him down and call the police. We’ll give the kid two fucking options, to get my fucking bike back by Saturday or get a criminal record and an ass whooping. What do you guys think?

If he can't produce the bike and you beat him up, you're facing battery against a minor. I really have no relevant information to help you besides hold him down and call the police as you suggested. Violence is only going to get you in trouble..be smart about it.

The kid even said there was nothing I can do to him because he is a minor and can get away with anything. That really boiled my fucking blood to hear this shithead could do anything with impunity

If you're planning on getting the police involved you need to report it stolen first. Beating up the kid or holding him against his will is not a good idea, it will only get you in trouble. In our country citizens can only arrest someone if they see the crime being done right there. If you grab the kid, hold him down and call the rozz they might well arrest you.

As I said before call down to his parents and explain the situation to them, they will put the pressure on him to get the bike back. Don't resort to vigilante tactics if you're planning to get police involved because they don't appreciate that shit and they hate junkies.
