 Night Bike rides

Is it just me or does anyone else think that taking a nice long relaxing bike ride around country roads at night is the best thing ever? Last night I was wicked bored and decided "hey, why not a bike ride to chill me out a bit!" and that's what I did. Long walks late at night are always fun for me too.
Anyone else do similar things when they're bored and can't sleep at night?

depending where you are it can be fun to walk around at night, and night bike rides are cool if you are in a cool place. Last time i was in colorado i would get bored at like 1 a.m. and walk around, i chilled on this huge rock next to this cool river for a little bit, it was awesome. Great weather, awesome scenary, and the stars are awesome in the mountains.

I love to drink a bit much, smoke a bit much, and then grab a bicycle and ride around late at night.. beautiful fun!!!

i get stoned and go mountain biking about every day of the week. Its so much fun. Once it starts to get warmer outside (soooon) ill start biking less because then its whitewater season. It doesnt get better than whitewater kayaking.
Back to the point... i want to start riding trails at night, it just needs to get a little warmer first.

Me and a friend of mine used to take our mountain bikes out to this nature reserve place called "forty acre rock" here where I live. Some of the hardest places to ride, and carrying of bikes up incredibly steep mountain style hills... Hard work but a great feeling when you get finished and can look back at it.
Which reminds me, I still need to get out there to take some photographs and see how a south east gathering type deal would work out at it...*makes a mental note for tomorrow ;p*

I always ride home stoned when I come from my girlfriends. Whenever we hang out, I ALWAYS walk her home, so I walk home a lot... I cruise down the highway with a joint in my hand, or I'll stop behind a barrier and pull out my pipe. It's the best!
Usually it's pretty late at night so when I'm on my skateboard, I have the whole highway to myself. It's godly to just carve down it, especially since I always have my tunes.
When it's crappier weather or I'm tired, I'll bring my mom's mountain bike. Hot damn, I must go atleast mach 3 or 4!!! Intense!
... I just came back from my gf's house. lol.

Same here! I also bike, jog and take my horse out. (especially fun late at night while tripping. He always knows the way back home)

Yeah, night bike rides.. those things we're crazy. nowadays, i just fall asleep after getting junked out. Man, i shoulda just kept being at least mildly productive.. even if at weird hours.
