haha, my mom and step dad had beach cruiser bikes, w/ pedal brakes. I think my older brother either left my bike somewhere, or sold it so he could buy weed (probably sold it). So I would use the beach cruiser to ride around town. I must say, bumping into the girls that you like on that thing makes you feel REAL cool. haha. but it was serously really fun, i would go really fast and just skid for like 40 feet and it would sound like a car screaching to a stop. I would do that while biking in the road, by cars, and sometimes they would freak out like they were about to get hit by a car, it was truely funny. Or do it while going near someone and they jump if they aren't paying attention. But it was a black bike with HUGE wheels, and a very wide soft seat. Can't fail to mention the hot pink details that they had on them.

There is a funny story about my brother and his friend riding them late at night...it goes a bit like this. So it's late at night, atlesat midnight. They rode them to go somewhere, they are on their way home. A cop pulls them over. And the cop said this "Well, I was gonna pull you over to see if those bikes were stolen, but I highly doubt that you guys would want to steal those." and they had a laugh and cop took off.

But at my dads house I have a nice mountain bike. Which I just rode the other day for the first time in a while (due to winter). There was still some snow and ice out and it was fun to skid on that. But it was freaking freezing and I was glad I had my gloves on, but I couldn't find my hat and my ears where quite cold.

yeah mine has pedal breaks, old school style
it seriusly the most basic cycle you can have
on one path headed down a little stream there is a root you have to jump over, i gave it a shot but since the bike is so big and heavy with no shocks io nearly threw myself of a clif into some bushes

haha, nice. When not MOUNTAIN BIKING ON A CRUISER BIKE, they are very smooth and a nice ride. But it just adds to the challenge of mountain biking, so, more power to ya.

Man! ya'll are so lucky to have somewhere to mountain bike by you. Here in the city there isn't anything close to diddly-squat! Last time I went mountain biking was in the Netherlands, out in the country. I rented a bike and had the time of my life... stoned as can be of course. Great times, I just wish I could do it more often. Its really great out there, they have a whole roadway for bikers, which connects a shitload of cities. I got soooo lost. Off of the main road system, there are marked mountain bike trails too. I need to get back across the pond

hell yea, I live in a beach town during the summers, nothing beats getting high and riding bikes around on the strand in the hot sun, either with friends or with an ipod.  I used to go out at night, get high, put a terence mckenna track on my ipod, and ride for the duration of the lecture.  So fun! Bikes and weed were made for eachother

Awesome photo!

I've ridden my bike across my state every summer for the past 6 years on a huge organized bike ride. I usually pre-roll 25 to 30 doobs from a big bag of shwag and smoke three or four a day during the 7 day event :-) Getting high behind somebody's barn while thousands of other bikers are riding out front is a lot of fun. And after riding about 80 miles in a day, getting to your camp site and sparking one up is the best feelign in the world.

the specialized hard rock comp is the cheapest real mtn bike it cost 500. but i have one and you are better of getting a used or new more expensive bike. i a got in june and broke the cranks and forks.then again i weigh around 250 so it might work for you.

me and my friend went biking at night. being wasted at the time i became ever so worried about the speed my bycicle and I were traveling at. As I was slowing down both my friend and I saw a man walk literally out from a pine tree and into the darkness. We both took a double take behind us and bailed at the same time. We sat there laughing at each other until the man returned...we grabbed our bikes and ran.

I always look for cool places to bike.
Hiking rocks too, i just love being in the woods.
