Metro: Last Light - Anyone played it?

How did this game slip through my fingers? I was surfing the net earlier on today when I came across this game over on GameSpot. According to their ratings, it's one of the best games out there at the moment. Has anyone played it yet? I might need to pick it up once I get paid.

Pirated it, great game, but the pirate version has an issue running physx according to both me and my buddy, my brother purchased it, issue is not there, overall, game is good, dont spend 50 on it though, I wont spend that money on anything unless it's a multiplayer game that has months of replay value.

I pirated it and have 0 problems. (thankfully)

I'd really suggest playing Metro 2033 first though. Last light is a direct sequel to it (not a lot of time or change happens between them).

Both are really great games. I was kinda disappointed with Metro 2033, but only because it seemed so short and ended so abruptly. Or maybe I was just so into it that it seemed to go by so fast, I'm not really sure. Anyways, I'd highly suggest you start there.

well shit can you send me the torrent lol?  My version runs great but even if I turn everything down and turn on Physx, boom, 15 FPS.  I have a gtx 670 too, no reason that should occur

I'm not sure what one I used exactly, but it was off IPT, unless you had an account there, a link wouldn't help much.

Pirated games are always iffy to me.. Most of the time they work, but sometimes they just don't for some inexplicable reason, and it seems pretty machine specific.. I've taken to just giving up after 10 minutes of trying to fix a pirated game that won't work. Because usually after 10 minutes it's a hopeless battle.

I can't get dark souls to work for example... No matter what I do.

Nice one guys! I was considering picking it up for the Xbox but I'm going to wait until it comes down in price before rushing out to buy it. I've still got Farcry 3 and a whole load of other games that I need to work my way through first of all.

Don't get me wrong though, this game really does look something special. In the youtube video I posted in the original post, the reviewers mention the original Metro 2033 a few times and rave on about it too. I might check it out the price and if it's cheap enough, pick it up :smile:
