Just be that source of light and love and know that if she doesn't come around, theres a whole world out there left to explore. Just try to be friends and maybe she will have a change of heart? My gf and I fight our fair share and we have lived together for 3 years. Just gotta spend some time apart from eachother to realize its not what ya want.

If its meant to be she'll come back. Who knows you might meet someone that was 100 times better and be liek damn im glad that bitch dumped me..

we both just spent 2 weeks visiting family in different cities. Today was the first day back. There was no fight. She is over me, it is done. I am 30 years old and while that may not be old to a lot of people, I have been in enough long term relationships and been hurt enough to where I am fucking over it

I am not looking forward to being lonely, but I dont ever want to go through this shit again. I have love, I have lost, I am fucking done

Hang in there in there bud. I can't think of too many things that hurt worse than a broken heart. One thing I've found as I've traveled through this journey of life is that out of the worst pain can come the greatest growth. Lean on your friends & family. Cry as often and hard as you need to. Do you exercise? If so keep it up. If not, now is the time to start. You may not feel like doing shit, but find something that may interest you that you've never done before & do it. As shitty as you feel now, you will heal....your heart will mend & you will find joy in life again. Hang in there. Shoot me a :pm: if you need to vent or anything. :hug:

Was there any closure? Did you talk about what went wrong? You're living together still so it might be good to clear the air and maybe you can learn from the failures of this relationship so that your next one goes better.

Please don't listen to all the children suggesting you should be an asshole to her. People break up all the time, it's a fact of life and it might just be for the best for both of you. You'll both be happier if you can be adults and stay friendly.:yesnod:

Being too kind will never get you dumped. There was obviously more to the situation than that, any person who ends a relationship with someone else because they are "too nice" is usually lying about the reason they're ending the relationship to make their s/o feel better.
