Dawg I got hair down to my nipples, terrible skin, lack of taste in clothes, scars or my nips from surgery, more body hair than I would particularly care for, and a myriad of anxieties and self-image issues to top it off. I guess I have a decent face and build (if i would actually stick to working out), but I am by no means the average definition of an attractive dude. At least I've convinced myself of that. I'm 20 and have been dating with few breaks since early high school. Not a virgin. My current gf is smokin' (in my opinion). I just got out of a long term relationship thinking "i was so fortunate to find a girl who was actually into me and i'll probably never find one again." Bull-fucking-shit. Two months down the road I've got a girl who's a billion times more like me, way fun, drop-dead gorgeous, etc.

But somewhere during that two months I had to convince myself that all I was lacking was confidence. And I was right. Once I quit trudging around campus like some creepy dude who didn't want to interact with anyone, people started noticing me more. I got invited to more parties, women showed more interest in me. In fact, i've come to realize that 9 times out of 10 when someone puts me down for looks or style, it's coming from a bunch of insecure dudes and not women. That 1 time out of 10 a woman puts me down she's usually a stuck up bitch anyways.

Girls don't judge guys the same way we think they do. Not saying they don't judge, but we tend to wayyyy over think it. The problem is, when you lack confidence you tend to miss a lot of opportunities because you don't read peoples reactions to you correctly. You think "ah that girl is only talking to me out of pity" or "im probably bothering this chick." Get out of that mindset. If you don't find a girl in months, don't go back in that mindset. It will happen eventually. I promise you there are girls out there who will be drawn in by your flaws. It's just natural. No one wants to feel the person they're with is perfect because the truth is most of us have plenty of insecurities. The trick is, to not let those affect your ability to interact, because many of them are probably feeling the same thing and will never make the first move on you for the same reason you are not moving in on them.

edit: Just read a few more posts and to answer some questions. I lost my virginity at 18. Late is better than never. And I really have no regrets. It's not as big a deal as everyone makes it. It's nice with a girl you care about, but otherwise there are bigger issues in life than getting your dick wet. Also, your comment about being a nerd... I've got a friend who is probably the nerdiest looking kid I know and he's got a smoking hot girlfriend. Don't get hung up on that stuff. It really doesn't mean anything in the end.

Here's my system:
(1) Meet girl
(2) Hang out with her at your place
(3) Put on movie
(4) Make out with her
(5) Tell her, "let's go take a shower"
(6) Shower with her
(7) Fuck all night

I have dubbed it the W_ _ _ system after my friend's last name who pulled me using this system haha.  I have not had a girl ever say no.  My friends have used it and they too have never had a girl say no.   Like clockwork bro.

As an aside, sounds like you really need to work on your confidence.  Get into some clubs (like the kind you do shit not dance clubs), get a job, just get some shit going on, learn some things you can talk about, listen to talk radio, podcasts, etc.  Just have a well rounded knowledge base so you can talk to most people out there.  Hobbies are really great because people find passions to be really attractive both on a friend level and a sexual level.  Fashion yourself into an interesting person people want to talk to.  Most people are boring as fuck so an interesting person is like a dry spot in rainy weather.  It's easy to get laid from there.  I lost my virginity at 23.   I guess I was a late bloomer.

I can't speak for OP but I've tried every method showing a bit aggression, being more laid back, showing no emotions, and showing emotions nothing has worked still alone, still bitter. I think if I had a prison record, unemployed, multiple baby mommas, or just a general scumbag I would be married now with a gf on the side.

I know I'm a whiny bitch.

Keep trying dude, wtf?

If that stuff made any sense you could say shit like, I've tried crawling, standing, putting the left foot forward, the right foot forward, NOTHING WORKS! I guess I'll just never walk, I'll be a non-walker all my life.

It's a long fucking trial and error process. Stick with it until something works!

And you don't have to. I'll make it more generic for you: go on google, or Wikipedia, and find some skill, ANY SKILL, that's likely to put a smile on people's faces and brighten up their day. Break dance. Street performance of any and all sorts. Join some group that organizes flash mobs. You work out. Look into acrobatics, free running, weird crazy handstand/headstand/yoga type body twisting contortions or what have you. Juggling, fire spinning and the million other curious skills from that area. Find some skill, other than lifting, that you can put some time into. Find one YOU like and get on it.

Capoeira for instance, that's both a martial art and a fantastic type of dance. Kali/escrima is quite flashy and impressive as well. Find some club like that, join for a month, at least until you find something better or more to your liking.

Clearly what you're doing now isn't working out for you. Find something new to try, or get praying and hoping that external change will somehow stumble upon you by chance and sheer fucking luck.

Honestly dude I'm done trying wasting my money, emotions, and time on women. It's brought me nothing but trouble. I've basically accepted that ill be going through life alone so unless I get desperate to the point of paying for sex that's about my only alternative (which I couldn't bring myself to do).

I get pretty fucked up by reflecting on how fucking retarded I am with women nowadays. Just stepped back from the practice after just a few approaches, now visiting a shrink once a week. She is hot and is interesting as in she talks a bit. Only just started this, can't afford to pay for sex but a bit of conversation will get me through this lonely wine, weed and no women time. I like daygame.com. The street is a free venue. I am completely useless on dates. Fucking awkward. Yet I still need to learn how to get a date... I might just hang out with my smoke, wine, psychologist and sounds for another 10 or 15 years then drink some fatal poison. Really don't have the stones to kill myself right now.

I know I'm making generalizations and youre probably a good whose made some poor choices. But I fully admit there is a lot of bitterness on my part that trying to do the right thing has gotten me nothing but rejections or manipulative cheating women. So that's another big reason why I'm checking out of the dating/sex game.

I'm in my supposed peak and I'm not saying that by some random occurrence I'll cross paths with a woman or even women that will show a strong interest in me. But I'm just at the point where that hope that lurks inside you every time you meet an attractive woman has been extinguished. Today at work I got on the elevator with this chick that's sexy as hell but than the next thought in my mind is that wow who I'm kidding like she would ever give me the time of day.

Women are attracted to confidence more than anything.
Work on that first, and then the girls will come.

Well do you have a regular, decent, or even substandard girl at home, to upgrade from?

IMO you can't just jump from a single guy who's not getting any, straight up to an "attractive woman" no matter what elevator she gets on with you. The difference is just to great to bridge in one single step.

Consider yourself dumped and in need of a rebound girl or two. Aim for mediocre or even substandard here, depending on your resources and self confidence. Fat chicks can be super useful in this case, so consider one. Don't introduce her to friends, first off you don't want her around for too long, and second you'll be embarrassed later if you do. Get in there, spend some time to up your confidence a bit, then from there aim higher.

You'll be more ballsy and less tense if you already have pussy to fall back on, and are looking for an upgrade, than if you have none and are looking to get started. Especially attractive women will sense this stuff about you in seconds, and disqualify you before you even say hi. It's a gradual process, you don't start with the most challenging target out there.

How do you expect someone to like you if you dont even like you.

Quit wallowing in self-pity and man the fuck up!

Then give up bro. Spend your life miserable and alone. Die an old lonely old man with a hustler mag in your arms cuddling your hospital pillow

Or keep trying (whether that means lowering your standards...actually BEING assertive etc.etc.)

Those are your options and the sad fact is you could easily die alone or be a virgin till you are 40. Unless you do something.

Your a man...act like one. Quit feeling sorry for yourself.
