Maybe I'm being arrogant, I don't know, but I'm sure he'll get over it. I could quote him when he called people idiots because he didn't agree with their opinion. If that's not being arrogant then I don't know what is, and I don't feel like I owe him any particular kind of respect just because he's been here for 9 years.

I don't want him banned, like I said he's definitely not the worst poster around, I just find it weird you feel the need to defend him like that, I'm sure he can do that very well himself.

you know you're not looking to actually gather what Zappa is trying to say, and come to an agreement with him. it's useless pandering.

and what's written all over in your "profile" is someone who will argue with someone whom you don't agree with, incessantly, without the causation of actually coming to a point of agreeance.

:lol: I can't even see what AA is saying, but he always does this.  He butts in to arguments other people are having and feels the need to mediate them, and distribute "troll" labels among certain members of the party.  He really sucks at minding his own business.

You've been here longer than I have, you know there's no such thing as " coming to an agreement " with zappa.

I really don't see how my profile suggests that I'm the kind of person who will argue incessantly though, or maybe you're referring to the general idea you have of me ? I usually enjoy your posts but sometimes you don't really make sense, I get what you're saying about zap but here I just don't see it.

Anyway, I don't see how any of my posts have been more pointless than this

It's not a strawman, it's harmless fun. It wasn't a personal attack nor did I actually mean to call him an asshole. He wrote that HIMSELF, I'm sure he won't get butthurt over it. I'm not sure you understand the situation here.

So ? This is the internet, I'm sure Learyfan didn't make this thread so he could personally debate this topic with zappa. The only difference is that I started posting here because I didn't agree with some things that were said, you're posting here to tell us what to say or not say.

Don't really care how long he's been here for, every time he posts it's always the same thing, like someone said he's always taking the contrary opinion (not the worst poster though). Don't think that's changed much since '04.

Everyone is enlightened to a certain degree.  Do I think I'm in Ram Dass territory?  I'm not even in eye shot of the ballpark.  I just wish I lived on a planet in which the enlightenment percentage is way higher.

i happen to agree.

having kids is a great thing. most people don't need to do that, though. not yet. not until they can support the child, defend them from being potentially retardofied, which means you can't be retrofitted with retarded junk parenting skills, to begin with. plus, not to mentioned, look at the environment they are growing up in. get a good environment to raise a child, before you have a child. accidentally had a kid? well, it's same fucking thing. you fucked up. hope your kid turns out decent.
