Yep last I played which was like three years ago it was $10 a month. Evercrack hooks a lot of people. Good game, but if you want a life I'd take it back now.

get warcraft 3. its lil bit more retail but free online play. I think its the best game i have ever played.

Yeah Warcraft 2 was awesome.. havent played 3 yet.

Try to avoid games where you build up a character over time because most people get addiicted and spend ALL their time building up their character so they can be the best.
edit: and whoever is the best in such games, are also the biggest losers with no life.

The Star Wars franchise is devloping a MMOG. It looks like it should be interesting, but the addiction factor worries me. I already waste enough time here... :crazy: :wink:

This chick I know at Skewl sold her EverQuest character last July, just got $500 for it on eBay!

Now to me that's a waste of money, you realize how much chronic you could get for that money?

I played it for a year, then stoped paying, and never played again. Through i hear shadows is pretty bugged out lookin. Dont wanna spend the money when you cant play it  :frown:

Everquest was a lot of fun and worth the monthly fee if you like that type of game. Here is some perspective on how addictive it can be:
-My little brothers friend gave us his gamecube and one game for 10,000 pp(platinum pieces) whcih I happily provided.
-330$ American for my level 57.5 cleric(I spent a lot of time building him up though).

Its a vicious cycle
1games kinda fun
2putting more time makes game more fun
3infinity time isnt possible so game isnt fun.
4start buying things on e-bay to save time.Or in my case sell it and run.

Hehe I'm playing EverQuest right now.
My main character is a 41 rogue. Right now Im playing a level 9 cleric. I have time to post on a message board.. that's how boring it can be at times :}
But, I love the game, I think it's worth the fee.

Its so damn 'multi-dimensional'. There's always a counter to something. Has anyone seen some of the replays from broodwar.com ?! Advanced players might be losers, but they can sure have some fucked up strategies layed down.

I am an EverQuest Nerd. I have been playing Since August 9 , 1999. Off and on that is. Great Game, very addictive. Give me a tell if you ever start. Povar Server....Name is Sandayen =) hehehe can't play game now, computer sucks to much ass, have to buy new one. So i will play again shortly. =)

Actually , for a while, some guy had a program that would do a macro. He made like, 1 milllion platinum pieces every 2 nights or so.
He got busted fast, though.
Bet he made a killing in real money selling that shit off.. jeez. Some people are too into the game.. they pay big bucks real money for some pixel money :smile:

did he actually go to jail? yea I dont really play diablo2 anymore cause its so unsecure and tons of people cheat. The most valuable item, the windforce is like $10 now and theres like 500 of em on ebay. last year there were like 10 of em on ebay and they were getting $300!
