Yeah I have never heard of the ganj being documented as related to cancer of any kind. It's never weed alone... but cigarettes and weed. In fact, the only thing I've heard concerning ganja and cancer is that it may actually prevent some malignant tumors.
Also, as everyone who smokes knows, the more/longer you smoke, the more smoke your lungs handle comfortably. This is because the nerves are being killed... so there isn't as much pain. Hey, I smoke cigarettes and weed. I'm just stating a fact.

I have seen the toll it takes on a kid when they grow up in a house with a constant weed cloud hanging in the air.

THC, or any psychoactive drug, CAN'T be good for a developing mind. Just deal with the damn kid, or give him a benadryl or something drowsy If you really have to dope your kids up lol

One thing about kids is they are still developing until they hit puberty... That is why alot of over the counter drugs warn about giving them to kids under the age of 18 (some kids hit puberty that late).
Giving kids pot, alcohol or any other drugs can effect them in a bigger way than any other full-sized adult person. Giving a 3 year old even a small amount of whiskey will effect their liver alot more than a 30 year old drinker(or even a non-drinker). Small children don't/can't process certain things simply because of their physiology.
I can't say if I had kids it wouldn't tempt me but morally I could never do it. I'd also think twice before giving them just any over the counter drug. I'd rather make sure a kid was sick before giving them tylonol cold medicine (something that as well as pot has been around for years).
This is also why I think more than twice about having children in the first place.

My dad put Kahlua is my brother's bottles if he was fussy, probably mine too. It explains why we're both pretty big alcoholics.
I try to avoid giving the kids anything, including Tylenol.

At the end of the day, you're going to have to give your kids medicines sometimes that you would rather not - but if you want your child to stay alive and well, which any sane/good parent does (granted, sometimes your kids will make you want to kill yourself or them), you're willing to compromise your personal morals for the well-being of your kid. I know from experience. It sucks when your kid is sick - all you want is for them to get well and get back to normal.
The common cold was killing babies before we had the proper medicines.
